ABOUT ME

Cecilia Walker is a designer, currently working at Hearst, as a Director on the real estate and facilities team.  Prior to Hearst, Cecilia's scope of work included the interior design and build-out of over 1.5M square feet of commercial spaces including co-working offices; engineering sites for Wayfair in Austin, Mountain View and Toronto; global projects for News Corp; and residential renovations in New England, New York, Los Angeles and Nantucket.

A former fashion industry veteran, Cecilia worked with companies including Laura Ashley, Inc., Ann Taylor®, Levis®, Keds® and local designer, Hadley Pollet, giving her a multi-faceted background in home furnishings, apparel, footwear and accessories both on the retail and manufacturing sides of the business.  In 2015, Cecilia reignited her passion for product development and designed a line of hand-screened fabric and wallpaper.

An Associate member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP), Cecilia was born in Washington, D.C., spent her childhood in Los Angeles, went to high school in Milwaukee, eventually landing in New England, and now commutes between Boston and NYC. She is also a mother of four—three of whom are triplet girls!

Cecilia earned a BA in Economics and Art History from Boston College.

Fun fact: In 2015, she competed with Tracy Foley (Water & Main) on a TV episode of "The Endless Yard Sale Showdown," in a race to find the most valuable antiques and vintage items.
